VERY sparkly tower. A time delay during the hourly light show

Sparkly tower.

Same Eiffel Tower, with a time delay to try and get the fire-twirling girl in the lower right. Apparently I have the palsy.

Eiffel Tower at night

Furthering our exploration of the uniquely French culture, some of us went bowling.

Hotel Deville. More hundreds of french people.

Ridiculous amounts of people in the streets for Nuit Blanche. Said Sanjiv: "This is a lot of people? This is a normal day in Bombay."

sigh...but I posed anyway. We all posed.

Quinn was very happy to find a marking for the old dateline - the one GMT replaced. I had never heard of it.

Paris at night, on Nuit Blanche

Group picture, complete with an unexplainably goofy and tired Neil, during Nuit Blanche

Things are all a little different here. (Not my diet; just the packaging)

Indian food, and Ferheen explaining it to me. I'm the only one without food, because no one knows what "wait at the corner for me to get there" means.

Would you believe I don't have any good pictures of the Eiffel Tower yet?

Wine. That price tag reads "2.95"

I like crepes.

Sacre Coeur, from the roof of our school

Group picture at the Mikes'.

The concert was near a large sphere.

Other people were there, too.

Group picture from a jazz concert at the park.

French.

Paris street

Yes, the opera is pretty. I get it.

Main entrance hall of the opera. Lots of marble..

Second group picture, inside the opera.

Group picture, outside l'Opera Garnier. Not everyone made it on time for the photo.

All I do is talk and look bored. This is from the school dinner at Bofinger, our first week here.

...and their "badass" bikes.

Hell's Angels France?

I locked myself out of my apartment my first night here. Sort of...
